Our Story

A Journey of Faith, Grace and God’s Faithfulness

Elim Tamil Ministries was born from a God-given vision placed in the heart of Rev. Daniel Stanley to proclaim the Gospel of the Grace of God, exalt Jesus Christ and build a Spirit-filled community where people could discover their new life and identity in Christ.

​

After leaving his banking career and responding to God’s call to full-time ministry, Rev. Daniel Stanley moved to the United Kingdom in 2009. With a heart to serve the Tamil community and reach people with the Gospel of the Grace of God, the ministry was established on 21 March 2010, with its first church fellowship planted in Liverpool, and as God continued to open doors, Elim Tamil Church London was planted in Manor Park, London on 19 May 2013. What began as a step of faith grew into a vibrant church family welcoming people from different backgrounds and generations.

Through the years, the ministry has remained committed to Christ-centred worship, biblical teaching, prayer, discipleship, pastoral care, evangelism and missions. At the heart of everything we do is a desire to exalt Jesus and proclaim the perfection of His finished work at Calvary.

Today, Elim Tamil Church London continues to be a place where Jesus is exalted, the Word of God is preached, the Holy Spirit is witnessed, families are strengthened and believers are equipped to fulfil their God-given purpose.

Our story is ultimately a testimony of God’s grace and faithfulness. We are thankful for what He has done, excited about what He is doing, and full of faith for what is still to come.

Exalt Jesus Christ. Preach the Gospel. Equip the Body of Christ.
